CK2’s Kelly and Chris are both respected artists in their own right and have been working closely together, as a jazz/cocktail piano and vocal duo and with larger ensembles since 1999, interpreting an extensive repertoire of favourites from Ella Fitzgerald to Randy Crawford and Aretha Franklin to Gloria Gaynor. Equally at home at a large corporate function or small private wedding, they can gently create a background mood or take centre stage for a sophisticated evenings entertainment. Their show consists of a wide range of music from Pop, Motown, Disco and Dance material from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s with a strong focus on up-tempo tunes that are sure to get every audience in the party mood! PX Productions Ltd was founded by Chris Wade and Kelly Borkertas in March 2002. Between them they have more than 24 years of experience in the music industry including writing, touring, directing and performing. Chris has worked as an MD, Bassist and Keyboard player and is competent in writing backing tracks, creating shows, sequencing lighting, projection and website design. Kelly is an experienced lead and backing vocalist with a large repertoire at her disposal and she is competent in events organising and recruiting musicians/performers for shows, bands and sessions. Together they have worked on a number of projects over the years and are currently taking their ideas and plans to new heights as they bring you a host of high quality services from bands and acts to PA hire and original releases.
We can offer hire of up to a 6000 watt PA system suitable for an audience of up to 500 people. The system comprises of a mix of turbosound and mackie speakers is powered by qsc amps and a mackie desk. Lighting is also available on request at additional cost. We offer a wet hire only policy so you will require at least 1 engineer and 1 roadie.
